Archiestown occurs as little village in Moray, Scotland, named within honour of its founder Sir Archibald Grant of Monymusk. These are the average 18th century planned village with the grid street-project & spacious square. Originally meant as a weaving centre, these are better known for the nearby still of Cardhu, Tamdhu, Knockando and The Macallan.
